The CMU-A5000 is a high-performance visual Internet of Things edge gateway that uses a home-made CPU (Rockchip RK3399/RK3399Pro) ,based on an embedded Linux real-time multi task system. The equipment includes video monitoring, station environment monitoring and linkage, AI security, fire alarm, access control, lighting system linkage and other functions. At the same time, the equipment has an innovative edge framework, and has a powerful integrated management function of LoRa wireless IoT equipment that conforms to the power transformation and distribution IoT protocol downward; Various management platforms such as visualization platform, dispatching platform and IoT platform can be connected upward, which is an important part of the auxiliary control system of intelligent substation/distribution room.

Summary
The device supports webcam monitoring, dual core Cortex-A72 (large core) and quad core Cortex-A53 (small core) CPUs embedded with VPU and IPU functions, and carries video application software independently developed by our company, which can complete all video processing functions such as video capture, real-time video streaming, video AI processing, storage, cloud mirror control, etc. The display brings great advantages. Characteristic
◇ The main CPU chip is embedded with VPU to realize AI algorithm:
VPU is used for H264 real-time hardware decoding of video. Through hardware decoding, the CPU utilization can be controlled within 10%, so that the main CPU resources can be released to handle other business tasks. At the same time, RK3399Pro is embedded with VPU, providing AI interface. Through natural algorithm, it can realize face recognition, wear recognition, human lodging, biological intrusion, electronic fence and other functions. AI has learning function, and customers can conduct scene training to flexibly expand more AI applications.
